The Southwest Ballroom Dance Company (SBDC) is an Arizona Non-Profit Corporation and pending 501(c)3 organization focused on promoting Youth Ballroom Dancing. We are a “grass roots” group formed by volunteer parents wanting the best possible dance experience for their children, and to offer an exceptional, yet affordable Youth Ballroom program to the Community. We welcome you to join us on our journey, and invite parents and families to participate and volunteer to help make our program even better!

MISSION - Strengthen Youth Through Ballroom Dance
Our mission is to “Strengthen Youth through Ballroom Dance” by helping students:
- Nurture talents and character;
- Foster an appreciation of the arts, and for appropriate music and dance;
- Engage in a wholesome activity that establishes an active, fitness-orientated lifestyle;
- Promote respect, honor, and cooperation with the opposite sex;
- Build self-esteem and confidence, and develop teamwork;
- Avoid and overcome teen problems, and have positive peer support in a safe environment;
- Prepare for a successful future through academic excellence, community involvement, leadership opportunities, and service.
